Bio – AgileBill Krebs

Bill Krebs has worked as a developer, performance engineer, and consultant at five IBM Labs since 1983. He’s used and taught Agile software development methods such as Scrum and Lean since 2001 to over 1,000 engineers and managers worldwide. He’s presented at agile conferences, IBM Research, and served as the co chair for the IBM Academy of Technology conference on Agile.

But that was the old world.

Now Bill teaches both face to face and using Virtual worlds – not just to save money, but to provide better learning experiences.

Bill is a certified ScrumMaster and Practitioner, certified MBTI facilitator, a member of the Agile Carolinas User group, Agile RTP, APLN, ISTE, IEEE, ACM, ThinkBalms’s Council, Scrum Alliance, Agile Alliance. He expects to be in the 2nd class to graduate with a one year Certificate in Virtual Worlds in 2010.

He currently is Principle Consultant at AgileDimensions LLC where he partners with Davisbase to teach a series of courses on Agile. You can also find Bill teaching at Rockcliffe University Consortium, where he teaches Software Engineering using immersive tools.
